Policies 

OUR POLICIES

We strive to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following policies:

CHECK IN/OUT

Check-In Time: After 3:00 PM

Check-Out Time: By 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, depending on availability. Please contact us in advance.

RESERVATIONS POLICY

All reservations must be secured with a valid credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before check-in to receive a full refund.

No-shows or cancellations made within 3 days of the arrival date will not receive a refund.​

PAYMENT POLICY

Payment is due upon check-in unless otherwise arranged.

We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Venmo, debit, and cash.

OCCUPANCY LIMIT

For your comfort and safety, please adhere to the assigned maximum persons limit in your room.

Additional charges may apply for extra guests.

SMOKING & VAPING

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Inn, including all guest rooms and public areas.

The designated smoking area is in the parking lot. Please dispose of your trash.

A cleaning fee will be applied if smoking is detected in the room.

PET POLICY

Pets are allowed at the Inn. We welcome well-behaved pets with a $25 per night pet fee. There is maximum of two pets per room allowed at the inn.

Please ensure your pet is always leashed and attended to while on the property. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Service animals are always welcomed.

NOISE & DISTURBANCES

To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests, please be mindful of noise levels, especially from your Smart TV..

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

ALCOHOL POLICY

Guests who are 21 years of age or older are welcome to consume alcohol in their rooms. However, we ask that guests consume alcohol responsibly and do not disturb other guests.

The Inn does not serve alcohol, but guests may bring their own for private consumption.

DAMAGE & LOSS

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room or Inn property during their stay. A charge will be applied for any damages beyond normal wear and tear.

The Inn is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. Please ensure that your belongings are secure at all times. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle.

SAFETY & SECUIRTY

For your safety the Inn is equipped with smoke detectors, and fire alarms in each room and the main hallway. Fire extinguishers are located under kitchen sinks and in the main hallway. A communal first aid kit is located in the main hallway. In case of emergency, please call 911.

 

We have security cameras in the main hall, the front door, and parking lot. Room doors automatically lock when the door is closed. For added security, bedroom doors have a deadbolt and security chain guard. Only guests of the Hilo Town Inn are allowed on the second-floor of the building. 

HOUSEKEEPING

We do not provide daily housekeeping or laundry services. Please inform us if you would like to schedule housekeeping services for an extra fee during your stay. For long-term stays over one week, housekeeping in provided on a weekly basis.

RESPONDSIBILTY FOR CHILDREN

Children are welcome at the Inn. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring children remain supervised at all times and follow the Inn’s policies.

EVENT & GATHERING POLICY

Guests are not allowed to host events, parties, or gatherings on the premises without prior approval from the Inn management. Please inquire with us for event options or accommodations.

GUEST BEHAVIOR

We strive to provide a peaceful, safe environment for all guests. Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to disruptive actions, abuse, or illegal activity, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate eviction without a refund.

LIABILITY

Hilo Town Inn is not liable for injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur on the property or in the parking lot. All guests use the facilities at their own risk.

COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL LAWS

All guests are expected to comply with the local laws and regulations during their stay.
